Pickleball Winter Ready

Train for the next point.

Quick stops. Low lunges. A reach you didn’t see coming. Pickleball asks you to move in every direction. This coached off-season series builds the physical tools behind those moments, with exercises adjusted to your starting point.

One weekly Strength and Resilience session, plus one Court Movement and Conditioning session.

  • Lower-body strength for lunging and getting back up
  • Balance and single-leg control for steadier court movement
  • Lateral, backward and change-of-direction capacity
  • Trunk and rotational strength for reaching and reacting
  • Shoulder, forearm and grip resilience
  • Conditioning to maintain movement quality as games go on

A progression with purpose

Your winter, mapped out.

Four training blocks. Twelve active weeks. A clear path from your starting point to your spring routine.

WEEKS 1–3

Build the base

Movement assessment, squat, hinge and lunge fundamentals; ankle and hip capacity, balance and trunk control.

WEEKS 4–6

Get court-ready

Lateral movement, deceleration, controlled lunging, backward movement and single-leg strength.

WEEKS 7–9

Build speed & power

Progressive strength, reaction drills, scaled low-level plyometrics and rotational control.

WEEKS 10–12

Prepare for the season

Court-pattern conditioning, movement under fatigue and individual weak-point work.

Before you join

A few good questions.

Need help deciding whether this is the right starting point? Talk with the Human 2.0 team.

Who is this for?

Recreational pickleball players preparing for the 2027 season. Exercises are scalable for a range of starting points, with coaching adjustments based on your readiness assessment.

Do we play pickleball in these sessions?

The focus is physical preparation: strength, balance, movement and conditioning. This is not a pickleball skills clinic.

What if I have pain or a previous injury?

Let the team know before enrolling. Your readiness assessment helps identify appropriate adjustments and whether a separate clinical assessment is needed. Group training does not replace medical care or guarantee an injury-free season.

Can I drop in or make up a missed session?

Enrollment is for the complete series; drop-ins are not offered. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed. Limited self-directed exercise alternatives may be available where appropriate—ask the team.

How much does it cost, and how many places are available?

Regular price: $595 + HST.
Founding cohort / early registration: $545 + HST through November 1, 2026, or until the first 6–8 spots are filled, whichever comes first.
Payment-plan option: 3 payments of $215 + HST each ($645 + HST total). All prices are in CAD. Each program is limited to 10–15 spots. Spots are allotted first come, first served based on paid memberships. An inquiry alone does not reserve a spot.

Can I bring a playing partner?

Bring-a-playing-partner credit: $25–$50 credit or a complimentary post-program movement check, applied only after the referred participant has paid in full.
