Educator

Dr. Chris Raynor

MD, MSc, BEd, FRCSC, FAAOS

Dr. Chris Raynor isn’t your typical surgeon—he’s an educator, movement advocate, and the driving force behind Human 2.0 Fitness. With over two decades of experience in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, Dr. Raynor has dedicated his career to keeping people active, injury-free, and performing at their best.

His philosophy is simple: better movement leads to better health. That’s why he created Human 2.0—a space where cutting-edge rehabilitation meets strength and mobility training. From high-performance athletes to everyday movers, Dr. Raynor believes everyone deserves access to the tools and knowledge to optimize their movement for life. As an ex-CIS and CFL athlete, he has a keen understanding of the physical demands athletes face.

At Human 2.0, Dr. Raynor leads a team of expert practitioners, integrating manual therapists, exercise therapy, and education to bridge the gap between injury recovery and long-term performance. Whether he’s in the operating room, the clinic, or on YouTube breaking down movement mechanics, his mission remains the same: help people move better, recover faster, and build resilience for the future.

Educator/Owner

Amanda Raynor

Amanda Raynor is a fitness professional, educator, and writer, and co-owner of Human 2.0 with her husband, Dr. Chris Raynor. With degrees in philosophy, anthropology, and education, and a background in architecture, she is passionate about how space and environment influence well-being. She believes true health requires intentional effort in a world that doesn’t naturally foster it.

Fitness has been central to Amanda’s life—from YMCA classes with her instructor mother to training alongside competitive athletes and becoming a certified instructor in her mid-twenties. She spent over 20 years teaching diverse fitness programs at community centers and YMCAs across Ontario, specializing in strength, mobility, aerobics, and seniors’ fitness.

Now at 56, she stays active through cycling, running, golf, salsa, and pole dancing—and is even working on a back walkover again. She firmly believes that age is just a number and movement is life. Join her on the Human 2.0 YouTube channel for beginner-friendly workouts and fitness tips.
